Stephen Chu: Climate, Energy, and the Importance of Science

Stephen Chu (nobel laureate and soon to be Energy Secretary) has an excellent posting up on change.gov. He is responding to comments about our policies for energy and climate change, but I really like how he ties in the importance of pursuing science itself. As he said, asking how the world around us works and what our place in it is is likely to be as old as humanity itself–truly part of the human condition.
